My Story
I founded D.L. Crosby Image Consultants in the 1990’s while working as an investment banker for Citicorp in New York City. My 7-year tenure on Wall Street taught me about the importance of dressing for success, and it was not long after living in NYC that I started to also work in the fashion world. I studied modeling and fashion with the John Casablanca Modeling Agency and makeup artistry with Diane Young Studios on Madison Avenue. During this period, I also modeled for several agencies and designers and created the mineral makeup and skincare line used by my clients today.
This experience in both the corporate and fashion worlds has given me the unique perspective that I bring to you, my client. However, it is not only my experience and interest in fashion that motivates me. I am inspired by the transformation that takes place in people’s lives when they feel confident in the clothes they wear. I have encountered countless stories of clients who—through re-thinking their wardrobe and image—have achieved more professionally than they ever thought possible.
